The intentionality of highlighting the most meaningful verses, stripping out the weaker parts of the chorus, and oh, they dropped in a sick beat with layers of new lyrics that just hit home like the original couldn’t. The Founder
As you may have guessed, I lived for the remix growing up! I would scour the web and file sharing services to find the collaboration that just hit hard - had the beats that energized me and the lyrical blending that spoke to me. It was usually within weeks that I shelved the original and hit repeat on the remix.
This idea of thoughtful collaboration to make things bigger and better has fueled my career.
With over 20 years of experience as an executive team leader in nonprofits and B2B/B2C companies, I have a proven record of strategic marketing, operational insight, integrated brand development, and creative communications that have increased profitability and customer retention while improving customer service across all areas of the organization.
I received my undergraduate degrees in Marketing and International Business from the University of Maryland’s Robert H. Smith School of Business, and went on to receive my Masters in Marketing from the Johns Hopkins University’s Carey Business School. I also hold my Certified Association Executive credential from ASAE and my Certified Diversity Executive credential from the Institute of Diversity Certification.
I give back to the next generation of marketing and diversity professionals through my leadership on the American Marketing Association DC Chapter’s Board of Directors and Marketing Mentors Network and volunteer service on the Conscious Inclusion Committee of ASAE.
